Week 8 Plays

SAN FRANCISCO -16 OVER JACKSONVILLE 4 STARS

KANSAS CITY -8 OVER CLEVELAND 4 STARS

NEW ENGLAND -7 OVER MIAMI 5 STARS

SEATTLE -11 OVER ST. LOUIS 4 STARS

NEW ORLEANS – BUFFALO  OVER 49 4 STARS

KANSAS CITY – CLEVELAND UNDER 39 3 STARS

DALLAS-DETROIT  OVER 51 5 STARS

OAKLAND-PITTSBURGH UNDER 41 4 STARS

DENVER-WASHINGTON OVER 57 5 STARS

SAN FRANCISCO -16 OVER JACKSONVILLE (IN LONDON) – It’s gonna be wet and sloppy and the best team will win for sure.  That team is the 49ers.  Their running game may be all they need and Jacksonville won’t be able to stop it with 8 or 9 or even 10 men in the box. TAKE THE NINERS MINUS THE BIG NUMBER FOR 4 STARS HERE. If you are a fantasy guy, activate Frank Gore and DON’T activate Colin Kaepernick. Kap will be a runner today, not a passer.

KANSAS CITY -8 OVER CLEVELAND – The Chiefs continue to win even when they don’t play well because of their incredible defense.  Last week they TRIED TO LOSE, I swear, and won anyway.  This week they get a good Cleveland defense and veteran Jason Campbell at QB for the Browns.  Campbell normally would probably do fine however this week isn’t going to be fun for Jason.  The Cleveland offense is putrid. Horrible. Pick your own word.  Oh yeah…the Cheifs are at home also.  I’M TAKING THE CHIEFS MINUS THE POINTS FOR 4 STARS HERE.

NEW ENGLAND -7 OVER MIAMI – The Pats and Tom Brady are getting used to having young receivers and injured receivers.  The Pats running game is a good one with Stephen Ridley hitting on all cylinders.  Miami has lost 3 in a row and this should make 4.  Gronk has a week under his belt and will be much better this week. Danny Amendola comes back from a concussion (probably to get another one) TAKE THE PATS MINUS THE POINTS HERE FOR 5 STARS. STRAIGHT CASH HOMIE!!

DETROIT -3 OVER DALLAS – The Cowboys and the Lions are almost mirror iimages of each other with both teams having potent offenses and defenses that at time can’t stop anyone.  Even with injuries, the Dallas Defense has held two decent offenses to a combined 19 points the past two weeks.  Detroit seems to be playing better o offense even though they lost a tough one at home last week.  ACTIVATE CALVIN JOHNSON, MATT STAFFORD, AND ANY OTHER DETROIT OFFENSIVE PLAYERS YOU THINK YOU SHOULD.  I’M TAKING THE LIONS MINUS THE POINTS FOR 4 STARS!!

DETROIT-DALLAS OVER 51 POINTS – This play goes without saying.  If Tony Romo and the Cowboys are going to stay close (and I think they will) they’re gonna need to score. I’d be surprised if this number wasn’t achieved early in the second half.  Romo and Stafford will light up the skies with passes and the game is in Detroit inside so weather won’t be an issue.  Dallas gets back DeMarco Murray this week which should give Dallas more of a kick on offense.  Their receivers are doing great already.  Still am TAKING THE OVER 51 HERE FOR 5 STARS.

KANSAS CITY-CLEVELAND UNDER 40 POINTS – This is going to be a defensive game in my opinion.  The Chiefs keep the offense close to the vest and run more than they throw anyway, and I don’t see Jason Campbell in his first start moving the Browns sick offense very well.  Jamaal Charles will run out of the backfield and catch passes for around 150 yards total.  The Browns will be behind early and be forced to throw which opens up the rushing lanes for the Kansas City linebackers.  TAKE THE UNDER 40 POINTS HERE FOR 4 STARS!!

NEW ORLEANS-BUFFALO OVER 49 POINTS – I like the Saints here coming off of a bye week well rested and ready to kick some ass after losing their final game before the bye to the Pats on a Tom Brady TD drive.  Buffalo, with their new QB Thad Lewis has looked good on offense the past two weeks but playing in New Orleans isn’t very good for visiting QBs.  Saints TE Jimmy Graham might not play today but they still should have enough to move the ball against an OK but not so great Buffalo defense that HAS played better as of late. I’M TAKING THE OVER 49 POINTS HERE FOR 3 STARS AND LOOKING FOR A FAIRLY CLOSE GAME.

OAKLAND-PITTSBURGH UNDER 40 ½ POINTS – To me, this look like a battle of defense and field goals.  Both teams are playing better and Oakland is coming off a bye week.  Steelers will give the ball to Le’Veon Bell about 20 times and throw short passes to move the football.  The Oakland defense is their strength and even though the Pittsburgh defense has been banged up, they’ve played better as of late, winning their last two games.  I’M GOING TO TAKE THE UNDER HERE FOR 5 STARS!! LOVE THIS TOTAL HERE.

DENVER-WASHINGTON OVER 57 POINTS – This total is a joke, which means that that beware of spilling too much coffee on this game.  Peyton Manning and the Broncos are coming off a sloppy, emotional loss in Indianapolis.  Personally, I thought this game took a lot out of Peyton.  He looked like he was injured early in the game on a big sack and never really got back to where he needed to be.  I hope he didn’t hurt his neck which affects his arm strength.  Having said that, I’m still going to go with Manning and his offense to score at least 40 points against a defensive backfield of the Redskins that is playing without two starters.  Robert Griffin and his offense has improved each week.  The Redskins COULD cover this big spread but I’m TAKING THE OVER WHICH IS A MUCH MORE SOLID PICK HERE.  COMBINED POINT TOTAL COULD BE 80+ HERE FOR 5 STARS!!
